UTM Minimum 1st year Grade Rquirement to Entry Computer Sciense Specialist or Major:
1: Enrolment in Computer Science Specialist (Science)
Minimum of 4.0 credits, including the following:
- CSC148H5 - Introduction to Computer Science
- MAT102H5 - Introduction to Mathematical Proofs
- ISP100H5 - Writing for University and Beyond
And anyone of the following:
- MAT134H5 - Integral Calculus for Life Sciences
- MAT136H5 - Integral Calculus
- MAT134Y5
- MAT135Y5
- MAT137Y5 - Calculus
- MAT157Y5 - Analysis I
- MAT233H5 - Calculus of Several Variables
CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) >= 2.5. 4.0 credits does not include CR/NCR grade
CSC148H5 and MAT102H5 >= 65% (Specialist) or >= 60% (Major) and must be taken in UTM campus.
Transfer students who are from outside of UTM or anyone studies at other divisions at UofT are not eligible to pursue a Specialist and/ or Major in Computer Science at UTM.
